The hills: one-off houses, few rules in common
Up above the flats, around Emerald Lake and the wooded lanes near it, the houses were built one at a time over sixty years or more. There is no shared vocabulary here the way there is in a tract - a 1962 post-and-beam sits two doors from a 1998 house with a double-height entry. Some pockets on the edges have been annexed over the years, so the only safe method is to check your assessor's parcel number against the county's map rather than assuming from the street name.
